Jesus Says Move ||

Follow the star to a place unexpected…
Do you believe? Is this who we’ve waited for?
(Down Here — How Many Kings)

What if God asked you to uproot everything?
What if God called you to a deserted place?

Be willing,
and always ready,
when Jesus calls.

Ready to MOVE.

Not necessarily physically move,
but faithfully ready to follow Him.

I can’t stand (sit) here and say (type)
that I’ve always jumped when God said jump.
But I can express the lessons I have learned
from not listening.

  • You can’t trick God.
  • You can’t quiet the voice of God.
  • His plan is always greater than yours.
  • You can never convince God that His plan isn’t the ‘right’ plan.
  • When you choose to follow your own plan, you will hit a dead-end.
  • Even when you run from His plan, God has a way of sneaking it right back in your way.

As a matter of fact,
I can testify truth to all of these…

I have tried, more than once, to run from God’s plan.

I ignored Him.
I shut my heart to Him.
I thought the plan I had for my life, was the ‘right’ one.

I wanted so badly to believe that I knew what was right for my life.
After all, it is my life.

I didn’t want to believe that the ‘right’ plan for my life included
leaving a boyfriend, friends, family, and comfort.

I was afraid to step away from the life I built for myself, to pursue the life that was already laid out for me.

I even turned my back on Him to pursue my plan.

However,  forgetting my plan, and following His,
was the best decision I ever made.

It challenged me.
But it changed me.
Because it was right for me.

Go figure, right?

Let’s just face it and accept it –
God always wins.

His plan is always best.

Even when it hurts.
Even when it’s scary.
Even when you think it’s wrong.
Even when you can’t see where it leads.

Don’t be fearful.
Put your life, your plans, and your desires in HIS hands.

Trust me, it’s worth it.

Best part yet?

God will even use YOUR desires, plans, and abilities, in HIS plan.
He knows you better than even you do.

He knows what you desire.
He knows what you love.
He knows your strengths.
He knows your weaknesses.

He will never ask you to follow
without full knowledge that you WILL succeed.

Have you been hearing that still small voice calling you away?
Asking you to move? Asking you to leave?
Asking you to do exactly what you are fearful of?

Listen to it.
