Philippians 1:20

Paul was determined that nothing would stop him from doing exactly what God wanted. But before we choose to follow God’s will, a crisis must develop in our lives.

This happens because we tend to be unresponsive to God’s gentler nudges. He brings us to the place where He asks us to be our utmost for Him and we begin to debate.

He then providentially produces a crisis where we have to decide— for or against. That moment becomes a great crossroads in our lives.

If a crisis has come to you on any front,
surrender your will to Jesus absolutely and irrevocably.

Ephesians 1:15-23 NIV

For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all God’s people, I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.

Verse of the Day //

James 1:2-8, 12:

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters,
whenever you face trials of many kinds,
because you know that the testing of your faith
produces perseverance.

Let perseverance finish its work
so that you may be mature and complete,
not lacking anything.

If any of you lacks wisdom,
you should ask God,
who gives generously to all without finding fault,
and it will be given to you.

But when you ask,
you must believe and not doubt,
because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea,
blown and tossed by the wind.

That person should not expect
to receive anything from the Lord.
Such a person is double-minded
and unstable in all they do.

Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial
because, having stood the test,
that person will receive the crown of life
that the Lord has promised to those who love him.

These trials we may face are only temporary.
Trust in the Lord to deliver you;
deliverance to something bigger than it all.
