73 Degrees of Awesome

70+ degrees today.
That’s AWESOME!
May not seem like much, but here in Illinois it is. Especially with the weather we’ve been having lately.
Mother Nature and her mood swings.

Today was AWESOME simply for that fact.
The sun was shining, and life was good.

Life is always good.

Big or little, simple or complex, remember to find the AWESOME in each day.
It’s there.
Just gotta tweak your perspective a bit sometimes.

The Awesome Fearlessness

We have the tools
Yet millions still suffer and die because what they’re missing is me
What they’re missing is you
What the world is missing is what you have always longed to do
– David Bowden

Fearless dreamer.

Wanna know what’s AWESOME?
The fact that every single one of us has the freedom to dream.
Yes it is a freedom; a right.

Don’t have one?
I don’t believe it.

An Awesome Significant Reality

Love.

That is my wish for you.”
- Katherine Henson

So I know it’s three in the morning and day two is technically done and over with, but my day is actually just ending, and I didn’t want to miss a day!
& no, I am not some crazy party girl who just snuck back into her parents house.
I’ve been with my boyfriend all night.
Also know as my best friend and other half.

Which leads me to the AWESOME in my day.
My boyfriend.
Cliche, I know.
But it’s true.

Day 1 of Awesome

“What is a teacher?
I’ll tell you: it isn’t someone who teaches something,
but someone who inspires the student to give of her best in order to discover what she already knows.”

Paulo Coelho

Today is AWESOME!

Actually, today is pretty gloomy. Rainy, actually. Which makes me tired, and want to curl up under the blanket and sleep all day.
In fact, that’s just about what I did this morning.
I almost let Thursday kick my butt.

Instead, though, I got up and decided to make today more than just ordinary.
I was gonna make it AWESOME.
And it has been.

Let me tell you why…

265 Days Of Awesome

Those who practice GRACENOMICS intentionally set out to “find the awesome” – however big or small – in life.
Having proper perspective is critical to unleashing second chance living.

So I’ve decided to start a new challenge on my website. My inspiration for this challenge came from reading Mike Foster‘s book “Gracenomics: Unleash The Power of Second Chance Living”; a book from an organization that helped change my life.

Because I am People Of The Second Chance.

And no, this challenge has nothing to do with witty dogs like one above. But he is precious, isn’t he?!

This challenge is all about changing perspective and finding the awesome. So despite the tragedies, stumbles, and day-to-day pit holes, I am going to find the awesome in each day.

So tomorrow starts DAY 1 of my new challenge, and I would love for you to join me! Whether or not you publish every day for the nest year or simply want to share something awesome that happens on a particular raining day, I would love to hear about it!

There are two types of people in the world: those who choose to be happy, and those who choose to be unhappy. Contrary to popular belief, happiness doesn’t come from fame, fortune, other people, or material possessions. Rather, it comes from within.

Faith Over The Mountains

Move Mountains“Ask like you believe it
Trust like you can see it
Take your fear and say
There’s nothing in your way”
Jason Castro - Only A Mountain

When faith matches His grace,
never-failing and never-ending,
hearts are lifted,
souls restored,
and lives are changed.

But you must act.
You must not stand still.

God can get you through.
Even those mountains that seem infinite.
There are no limits.

He can move all mountains
when your faith matches His grace.
