I read a lot of books, there is no denying that. However, I tend to leave a book unfinished. Most of the books on my bookshelf still have the book mark placed somewhere passed the middle section. Why? Couldn’t tell you, honestly.
There are only significant authors or series that I will truly become passionate about; such as, Harry Potter series, Nicholas Sparks, and C.S. Lewis. Now I obviously enjoy other authors, like Max Lucado, Jodi Picoult, Mary Beth Chapman, and I thoroughly enjoy literature classics. But, there is something different about the books that I cannot seem to put down; books that I can read in one sitting and feel refreshed and drawn in at the end. Books that I find myself thinking about throughout the day, even though I have long finished the book. These are the good books, these are the books worth telling you about.
What I can tell you, though, is that when I do finish a book, it’s a book worth posting a review about. I recently (literally a few days ago) posted a review on the Hunger Games, the first of Collins’ breath-taking trilogy. I was so intrigued by the first that I ordered the second, got it yesterday, finished it today, and then order the third one.
Now, I never really thought I would get so attached to theses books, especially considering I am such a classic literature type of girl. But, they did it for me; just as when I read every single Harry Potter book six times, over again. Also like I was able to read straight through Anna Karenina. Like I said, these are the good books.
