Francine River’s ‘Redeeming Love’ Review

When a friend recommended this book to me, I was skeptical. She promised me that it would change the way I viewed love. It did just that! I had just experience yet another heart-break and was set on the idea that nothing would ever work out. But then I was introduced to Angel, a girl who was raised in prostitution, and was set on believing that love did not exist. When a young man, Michael, saves her from this lifestyle she cannot believe it. She denies his love and does nothing but shut him out. She runs, and he chases her. Michael shows true love of God. He gives and he gives, and she does not accept. But Michael knows the good Lord, and he does not give up on her. He does nothing but love her and cherish her, even when she does nothing but run.

In the end, will she give all her love back? Or continue into her old lifestyle, giving into the idea that there is nothing more but brothels and men who will pay big for her beauty. I challenge you to read it and find out.

This books gives hope to those who believe they may never find the real love the seek. It proves that when God’s hand plays a role in our love story, there is nothing we cannot dream.
There is real love, and this story portrays a timeless beauty of love and life.
